Device Protection Plan Online Payments 

1. Go to rdale.org/discover/technology 

2. Click on “School Store” on the left side menu

3. Click the logo of the school your student attends

4. Select your student from the dropdown menu.

5. Select the item you would like to pay for - Device Protection Plan
   (If you have more than one student attending the school you selected in step 3, you will need to select a name from the Recipient Field Drop Down menu.)

6. Click the blue "Add to Cart" button
   If you have another student(s), repeat steps 3-4.

7. For those families who have been approved for educational benefits, once the student’s name is selected, the price will automatically change from $25.00 to $5.00.

8. Click on "My Cart"

9. Add payment method; VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted (make sure you know the email where the receipt will be sent)

10. Click "Submit Payment"

How to Pay a Device Fines

For a lost charger, lost case, physical damage to a device, or it was lost or stolen.

Pay online with a credit card:

1. Go to: Robbinsdale PerL 1:1 Device Fines

2. Click on the amount due or click on $0.00 to enter the amount to be paid.

3. Complete the form with your student’s name, school, and fine description.

4. Click the “Donate” button and enter payment information.

 Or, you may submit payment by cash or check payable to ISD 281. Payment can be sent to the school's media center.

Device Protection Plan

In an effort to protect families from unknown expenses that may occur from theft or accidental damage while the device is in the care of your child, the district is offering a device protection plan. The charge for the device protection plan is $25 per school year per student ($5.00 per year per student for families who qualify for educational benefits). 

• The protection plan covers the first accidental damage. 
• Deductibles apply to subsequent claims. 
• If your device is stolen, you must provide evidence that a police report was filed.  
• Damage caused by misuse is not covered by the device protection plan. 
• Not Covered by the Device Protection Plan:
  • Charger ($20 cost)
  • Case ($25 cost)
  • Hotspot ($40 cost)

  • Hotspot Charger ($5 cost)

Parent Portal

Parent Portal accounts were created for you when your student(s) enrolled in Robbinsdale Area Schools. However, you can register for an account by clicking HERE. 

For you to access these tools, the school district needs a current email address on file. Please call or email our support staff if you have any questions or need access: Dina_Lucas@rdale.org or 763-504-8060.

HOTSPOT INTERNET ACCESS

Hotspots can be provided to families who do not currently have quality internet access; please complete the hotspot request form.

Families should continue to follow the District's Family Use Agreement and Acceptable Use policy.
