1955: Rondo-St. Anthony Improvement Association founded by Reverend Floyd Massey and local barber Timothy Howards.
June 29, 1956: National Interstate and Defense Highways Act is signed into law by President Eisenhower.
September 28, 1956: Rev. George Davis is forcibly removed from his home by police
December 13, 1956: Public hearing at City Hall in St. Paul about the planning of I-94
1964: Rondo Avenue renamed Concordia Avenue.
December 9, 1968: I-94 opens to traffic
July 1-3, 1983: The first Rondo Days celebration is held in St. Paul.
