Greetings Forest Families!
Today students will be bringing home their quarter 3 report card. Be sure to get it from your child and review their progress. Sign the envelope and send it back to school. Students will come home with Quarter 3 attendance certificates next week. Let's be focus making Quarter 4 our highest attendance rate of the school year by staying healthy and getting plenty of sleep. These are our attendance rates by Quarter so far this year:
- Quarter 1: 78%
- Quarter 2: 76%
- Quarter 3: 70%
- Remember that our goal is 90%. Let's reach our goal in Quarter 4 Forest Wolves!
Sunday is the last day to order a yearbook. Click the link in the section below to get yours ordered today!
Students in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th will take the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA's) on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 16th and 17th.
- Testing starts at 8:15; please do your best to be at school on time these days.
- Thank-you to the families that donated Peppermint LifeSavers for students during testing.
- As of today, students in grades 3rd - 5th will not be bringing their Chromebook home until they are done with MCA testing.
- 3rd and 4th graders will start bringing them home again on April 25th.
- 5th Graders will starting bringing them home again on May 1st.
- If your child did not bring their device to school today, be sure to bring it on Monday. It is extremely important to have students test on the device that is assigned to them.
Next Thursday is our Summer Kick-Off Family Night from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. We will have community partners in the building with many opportunities to sign up for during the summer months. In addition, families can sign their child up for summer school and pick up activities from their grade level teachers. For this Family Night - everyone will enter the building through the doors by the Pre-K classrooms. Here are some of the partners joining us:

Thank you to our Robbinsdale Area Schools volunteers. Through the Volunteers in Partnership Program, 360 volunteers have supported our classrooms this school year.
With a camp-like feel, the Summer Academic Program for elementary and middle school students features small class sizes and no tests or worksheets. This opportunity will spark your student's curiosity, while also allowing them to play games, get outside, and hang with friends.
What happens when a family member lives too far away to see their student’s artwork on display? What if they aren’t available to attend an in-person event? The solution came in the form of a districtwide virtual art show.
All families with students enrolled in Rdale schools must fill out the bus transportation survey for the 2024-25 school year. The survey must be completed for each student by Monday, May 20.
A reminder to families that there is no school Wednesday, April 10
The school board would like to invite representative stakeholders from across the district to provide additional feedback on the finalists during Round 2 interviews on April 11, 2024.
Attendees can experience American Indian culture, learn more about the importance of powwows, and enjoy a meal of fry bread tacos.
Robbinsdale Area Schools offers tuition-free full-day kindergarten to all students, in eight neighborhood elementary schools and three magnet schools.
The Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education has announced the interview schedule for the six semi-finalists it's chosen for the district's superintendent position.
The semi-finalists were selected from a pool of 14 applicants based on criteria established by the school board, as well as survey input provided by Rdale stakeholders.
Monday, March 25 - Friday, March 29 is spring break. School will not be in session, but district offices are open through Thursday, March 28. Monday, April 1 is a non-school day in observance of Easter Sunday.
After spring break, families will be able to submit student absences online through the parent portal. Piloted earlier this year with high school families, the feature is now available at all grade levels.
Over spring break Rdale’s technology team will be hard at work installing new phones in our schools.
